This is sad but true!
I can’t tell you how many times I have had people ask me if I want to look like the woman on top. And those same people think when I say I lift weights, that’s what I’m going to end up looking like.
WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!
The hormone a woman’s body makes is estrogen, men produce testosterone. And while women DO produce a little testosterone, it is no where near enough to make a women look like a bodybuilding man naturally! If you want to look like that it is certainly possible, but not naturally!
So lift lift lift! It is SO great for you! It boosts your metabolism, and burns double calories than doing only cardio.
I speak from personal experience on this one. I used to do an hour and half of cardio everyday and GAINED weight! I did not understand what was happening because we always hear cardio = fat loss. Yes and no. Cardio is good for you, but lifting will take your weight loss to a completely new level! When I started lifting, I lost 30 pounds in 3 months. I could not believe that cutting my cardio and adding weights made me lose weight that fast!
So please PLEASE don’t be scared to lift!
(Another bonus is how incredible you will feel while lifting. I have never felt more sexy as I do when I look in the mirror and can see my muscles working!)
